Bu bye benefits!

Today I learned Laramie County School District #1 is being forced to cut between 150 and 200 jobs. AND Laramie County School District #2 has changed all of their employees to "at will".. good bye tenure! For all my friends who are in the state system and voted a straight Republican ticket.. congrats! This is what you get!! #score #byebyepension #demswouldhavefoughtforyou

    I am most likely one of those 200. Unfortunately, I am in my last year before qualifying for continuing contract. I've worked 7 years to be here. :-(

    Maybe not Teresa. There are a lot of people junior to you. This is so sad for our students and teachers. Class sizes will be huge!
